On the 28th, the geological exploration project for the main factory building of the Jinfeng Technology Wind Turbine Plant, the main factory building of CRRC Motor Plant, and the blade factory under the construction of the Fujian Three Gorges Offshore Wind Power International Industrial Park officially began. On the same day, the Xinghua Bay Phase II offshore wind power project invested by Three Gorges Group in Fujian was fully launched, and preparations for the construction of the million kilowatt offshore wind power pilot projects outside Zhangpu Liu'ao and Changle were launched. The total investment of the above six projects is about 16 billion yuan. As of now, Three Gorges Group has invested approximately 7 billion yuan in Fujian, and it is expected that the total investment in the future will exceed 200 billion yuan.
The Fujian Three Gorges Offshore Wind Power Industrial Park, located in the Jiangyin Industrial Zone of Fuqing, covers an area of 1000 acres. The sound of pile machines is booming, and the park's infrastructure and some factory buildings have been erected. This will form core value links such as research and development design, production manufacturing, inspection and testing, and production services for Fujian's offshore wind power industry, comprehensively improving the design technology and manufacturing process level of domestic offshore wind power equipment, "said the person in charge of Three Gorges Fujian Energy Investment Company. Three Gorges Group Increasing Investment in Fujian to Develop Offshore Wind Power Projects
In the newly constructed project, Goldwind Technology Wind Turbine Plant will develop and produce 6.7MW and Shanghai Shangfeng wind turbines, and construct a large capacity offshore wind turbine test bench, laying the foundation for the research and development and production of 8MW and even 10MW offshore wind turbines. The planned annual production capacity of the project is over 1 million kilowatts, and it is expected to be put into trial operation in the second half of next year. The annual output value after reaching the production capacity is about 10 billion yuan; CRRC Motor Factory produces permanent magnet direct drive generators with a capacity of 6MW and above for wind turbines in Shanghai; The blade factory will produce wind turbine blades required for large-capacity offshore wind turbines for the main plant and enterprises outside the park. It is expected to be put into trial production in the first half of 2019. In addition, the currently capped structural component factory of the experimental building will produce generator stator and rotor brackets, steel pipe piles, etc. required for large capacity offshore wind turbines.
Since the signing of a strategic cooperation agreement with the Fujian Provincial Government in June 2015, Three Gorges Group has accelerated the development of concentrated and contiguous offshore wind power in Fujian and the integration of the entire industrial chain. The Fuqing Xinghua Bay prototype test wind farm, which was built in November last year, has completed the lifting of 6 wind turbines, of which 4 have been connected to the grid for power generation.
The newly started Xinghua Bay Phase II 280000 kilowatt project is the first trial operation of the wind farm. The large-scale development of offshore wind power projects with a concentration of one million kilowatts, namely Zhangpu Liu'ao and Changle, marks that Fujian has become a strategic base for the Three Gorges Group to become a leader in offshore wind power and a gathering area for the development of the offshore wind power industry.
The person in charge of Three Gorges Group stated, "We will use the Fujian Three Gorges Offshore Wind Power International Industrial Park as a platform, and through introduction, digestion, absorption, and further innovation, we will quickly achieve a batch of fundamental, original, and leading achievements, and achieve the localization of major offshore wind power equipment and Fujian manufacturing
